Chicago Fire, Med and PD premiering back-to-back on M-Net

ALERT! Chicago marathon incoming. Get ready for a triple dose of excitement on Tuesday, 5 September, when Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD return to M-Net (DStv Channel 101) with new seasons. The first episodes of all three hit dramas will air back-to-back, starting at 8pm, so you can catch all the action in one sitting.

The Chicago franchise (which includes Chicago Justice) is called One Chicago and is one of NBC’s most successful shows – averaging nearly seven million viewers per episode. Here are some awe-inspiring stats about this TV phenomenon:

In Chicago Fire season 11, the stakes are higher than ever for the firefighters of Firehouse 51.With Severide away at training camp, Kidd must step up as the new lieutenant and lead her team through some of the most challenging fires and rescues yet. Chicago Med season 8 sees the doctors of Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre back for another season of life-and-death stakes, personal drama, and emotional twists. The Med centre says goodbye to several beloved doctors, whilst administration changes spell big trouble for the future of the centre. There are also some fun romances that will flourish while others fizzle out.

After the shocking events of the season eight finale, Chicago PD season nine sees Voight and his team reeling from the loss of one of their own. But they will quickly have to put their grief aside and focus on the task at hand: taking down the city’s most dangerous criminals. This season, the Intelligence Unit will face off against a new drug kingpin, a serial killer, and a group of corrupt cops. They’ll also have to deal with the fallout from Anna’s death, which will have a profound impact on Voight and the team.
