DANCE music divas CeCe Peniston, and Crystal Waters are still set to bring the ’90s to Cape Town – just later than expected, moving their November/December line up to March 2023.
The duo, based in the United States, were heading to Africa for a tour which included Cape Town on Saturday, November 26 at the Grand Arena at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World, Durban Exhibition Centre on Friday 2 December, and Gaborone, Botswana on Saturday 3 December. However, unforeseen circumstances sees the pair moving their long-awaited tour to early next year.
The concerts will now take place in Cape Town on March 11, Durban on March 10, and Botswana on March 4. As an additional treat for Johannesburg audiences, the city has been added to the tour, with a March 3 performance.
“There is obviously disappointment attached to this announcement but we know that the show promises to celebrate the extraordinary era of dance and house music and will be well worth the wait. Rest assured that we are going to bring the magic and nostalgia in 2023 with this line-up and a few more surprises in store,” says concert promoter Roland Hendricks.
