THE Manor House at Brookdale Estate is celebrating its first festive season with the launch of a special offer for locals seeking a luxurious, winelands escape during the holiday season.
Escape the hustle and bustle, and retreat to the tranquility of the Paarl wine estate at the foothills of the Klein Drakenstein mountains this holiday season. Bed and breakfast rates are offered from R6560 per room per night (for 2 people sharing) during the summer season (now, to 19 April 2022). For longer stays during the Christmas and New Year period, 50% discount is offered on a third night’s stay (peak season R6960 per room per night, including breakfast, from 18 December to 15 January).
The Manor House may also be booked on an inclusive basis complete with all meals and select local beverages at R25 000 per night for up to six guests (additional guests R4000 per person per night). Executive chef Gary Coetzee will prepare delicious meals using herbs and vegetables from the estate gardens, ranging from family-style suppers around the swimming pool, to light lunches and picnics in the vineyards and fine-dining three course dinners matched with estate wines.
Elegant Brookdale Manor House is the ideal destination for individual travellers, as well as families and small groups of friends travelling together seeking to spend time together in a safe bubble, away from crowds. It can accommodate 12 people in six beautiful bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms – five in the main house and a sixth en-suite bedroom in the building adjacent. In addition, two children under 12 can be accommodated sharing with their parents. The suites are spacious and are equipped with all creature comforts and luxuries to ensure the most relaxing stay.
Built in a modern Cape Dutch style, Brookdale Manor House offers privacy and ample living and dining spaces. The outdoor entertainment area is set around a magnificent swimming pool, complete with a pool house and bar to enjoy glorious sunsets with a glass of wine from the Brookdale and Mason Road ranges. The estate stretches across 67 hectares of vineyards and gardens, inviting guests to indulge their curiosity, enjoy the fresh mountain air and the freedom to explore the lush vineyards, which are being prepared for harvest early in the new year.
