Tomato juice is back, baby

FOODIE, meet Marty’s Spiced Tomato Juice. Here’s what you need to know.

Tomato juices do not have to be heavy and dense. It does not have to feel like you are swallowing your way through a bottle full of cold soup. It can actually be light, lovely, and super refreshing – like Marty’s. Check out the fun back story here.

Mr Marty (the man behind the juice) has been a staunch connoisseur of tomato juice all his life. As a fully-fledged business owner with a deli of his own, he got to work to create a juice that’s spiced right. The result is a delectable libation that allows the soul of the tomato to shine while also doing a little flavour jig in your mouth.

Marty’s Spiced Tomato Juice took home a Double Gold at the Aurora International Taste Challenge. It also took top honours at the acclaimed Great Taste Awards in Britain, where 14000+ products went through the competition’s rigorous blind judging process and Marty’s was described as simply delicious by the tough-as-nails judges.

Low in kilojoules, tomato juice aids natural rehydration, and promotes overall well-being. This is, incidentally, also why the classic Bloody Mary is such a popular choice at morning-after-the-night-before brunch tables around the globe.

And, as the cherry on top of it all, the fine folks who make Marty’s really care about the planet and its communities as well. In fact, Marty’s subscribes to 7 of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and as a part female-owned and run business, it works hard to ensure that every step is taken to produce its product considers the environment and the community.

You can read about the real, tangible sustainability choices and initiatives here.

Marty’s Spiced Tomato Juice is a great choice whenever you’re in the mood for a drink that leans into the savoury space instead of the sweet. It’s a fabulous option for sober-curious epicureans and teetotallers alike. Or you can pair it with your favourite spirit to make a savoury cocktail, of course.
