AMURA by Ángel León and ANTHM Cocktail Bar will unite for one extraordinary night at Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel, Cape Town. Limited to 50 guests, the single seating takes place at 6.30pm on 26 June 2026, at R2 650 per person.
Amura has cemented its place as one of Cape Town’s most compelling dining destinations, bringing Michelin-starred chef Ángel León’s marine-led philosophy to South Africa. ANTHM Cocktail Bar, led by acclaimed mixologist Tetsuo Hasegawa, has earned a devoted following through its precision cocktail philosophy — drawing from Japanese bartending traditions, New York listening bar culture and the Cape’s rich botanical landscape.
For one night only, the two come together in an evening where music, glassware, smoke, scent and citrus form part of an unforgettable pairing experience.
Hasegawa’s ingredient-led approach — delicate teas, foraged botanicals, Japanese spirits and citrus oils — finds a natural counterpart in Amura’s tide-driven menu. Guests will journey through oysters with green gazpacho, hot and cold scallop with citrus beurre blanc, langoustine with mole and dark chocolate, plankton risotto with squid, and dry-aged seabass with pil-pil sauce, concluding with Amura’s signature mussel caramel with brown butter and seaweed.
Cocktail pairings — crafted exclusively for the occasion — will be revealed on the night. A non-alcoholic pairing menu is also available.
“This collaboration reflects the spirit of The Nellie today: rooted in heritage while continually evolving the guest experience,” says general manager Patrick Fisher.
