SILO CONCERTS in partnership with Hendricks Gin are back to entertain visitors to the Waterfront’s neighbourhood from November 2022. Established in 2018, the concerts quickly gained in popularity and soon became an annual series of memorable events. Visitors to the V&A can look forward to an exciting and varied concert line-up as part of the 2022/2023 series, which begins with a performance by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra on 4 November.

This Thing Called Swing

The Silo Concerts will take place every first Friday of the month at 7pm, and will continue through to April 2023. The concert venue is in front of the restaurants against the Zeitz MOCAA building opposite Si. Below is the concert line up for each month.

“After a two-year hiatus, we’re so happy to have the Silo Concerts return and to be able to put on a great show for our visitors once again while supporting and showcasing the best of local talent. Music has always been something that brings people together and the thought of having our visitors gathered at the Silo District connecting in song and dance brings us nothing but joy,” says Tinyiko Mageza, V&A Waterfront marketing executive.

“We’re excited to bring back the magic of outdoor musical performance to this much-loved and unique spot at the V&A,” says Lisa Rothwell, marketing manager, Hendrick’s Gin.
