GET ready for a Heritage Day indulgence at Constantia Glen with red wine and a traditional South African platter.

The Constantia Glen South African Platter harks back to authentic local culinary roots with bobotie, biltong, droëwors, samoosas, snoek pâté, pot bread, peppadews and potato salad. This generous platter is perfect for sharing and melds beautifully with the estate’s Constantia Saddle Red.

Guests who opt for the South African Platter on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 can enjoy 50% off a bottle of Constantia Saddle Red as pairing partner. With its juicy texture and freshness, the vibrant wine is one of three in the easy drinking Saddle range exclusively available at the tasting room.

Framed by outstretched vineyards and majestic mountain views, this tranquil setting is the ideal backdrop for a relaxing day spent with friends. If you wish to linger over lunch, Constantia Glen offers more substantial dishes such as slow cooked pulled lamb and grilled chicken paillard in addition to its popular selection of cheese and charcuterie platters and crispy Flammkuchen.

The tasting room is open from Sundays to Fridays from 11am till 6pm and from 11am till 8pm on Saturdays. Tasting room bookings via the website are highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
