Feature areas will include d’VINE life, INTERIOR spaces, truly ARTISAN, OUTside, the home | tuis Theatre, the Raw CONCRETE Theatre,the AV & Appliance Emporium, The Kitchen as well the Design, Art and Textile Design ComPETition.
d’VINE life will showcase wines from our world-renowned wine estates as well as exclusive local handcrafted beers and gin, delicacies such as cheese, olive oils, tapenades, decadent soft toffees, biltong and other gourmet goodies – everything you need to make life flavoursome!
If you’re a beer lover, you’ll be glad to know that Darling Brew, one of South Africa’s first award-winning microbreweries will be at this year’s Expo. Loved for their great taste, quality ingredients and brewing process, each beer in their range has unique characteristics and is dedicated in honour of an endangered species. If you’d like to indulge your cheesy taste-buds, Flavourex Cheese is a must on your list. With generations of family cheese making knowledge, their secret is that they still use handcrafting techniques. Turophiles won’t want to miss it.
For those with a sweet tooth, Sweet Temptations will serve decadent treats including nougat, toffees and Turkish delights as well as its new range of popcorn with any topping your heart’s desires.
Cape TOWN HOMEMAKERS Expo is presented by HOMEMAKERS, one of the biggest home enhancement exhibition groups in South Africa, with three home lifestyle events in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria reaching 100 000 visitors every year.
Tickets are available at the door or from Quicket. Adults pay R90, pensioners R70 and children under 16 enter free. The Expo will be open Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm, and on Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
