The delight continues with our new, tasty drinking yoghurts. They’re perfect as a delicious snack, and are available in four flavours in 250ml bottles – Strawberry, Mango & Coconut, Cranberry & Litchi and Chocolate. Made with real dairy and natural fruit, this product is preservative-free and packed with BB2 probiotics.

Each retails for R14.50 and are available from Marcel’s stores nationwide.

In 1989, Marcel’s Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt was first introduced to the South African market with the opening of its first store in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. Marcel’s has always had a commitment to using premium ingredients in its recipe development, despite the costs. The integrity of the product remains at the core of the brand and its numerous awards and accolades attest to this.

Vanilla & Chocolate Piñata

Recipient of a South African Dairy Championship Qualité Award, Marcel’s Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt products continue to be recognised as one of the finest dairy products in the country. Made with real dairy and only natural ingredients, its quality products are not only lower in fat but has several additional health benefits. Containing live yoghurt cultures and more than 1 million live Bifidobacterium (BB-12) probiotics makes Marcel’s a better, healthier choice.

Peanut Butter & Chocolate

In 2012 South Africa experienced an influx of new entrants to the frozen yoghurt market with the aggressive rollout of self-service retail concepts posing a threat to the Marcel’s brand.  At the time, approximately 80 new frozen yoghurt stores opened across the country. And although the concept of self-service was a novelty, Marcel’s stuck to its guns by continuing to serve its customers over the counter. Today the landscape is very different, however, and Marcel’s Frozen Yoghurt has reclaimed its position as the market leader.

Marcels currently has 26 outlets: a combination of 12 corporate and 14 franchised stores as well as a national and international distribution network of packaged products into no less than seven African countries.

English Toffee & Chocolate

Having a diverse product range and offering has been very beneficial to the brand, with soft-serve and finished products available at destination stores and all major retailers. As a brand, Marcel’s is probably best known for its English Toffee flavour, with the other three standard flavours of Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla. There are more than 20 soft-serve rotational flavours available on demand.
