THE Cape Wine Auction Trust has announced tickets are now officially on sale for The Celebration, a new highlight of The Cape Wine Auction 2026. Taking place on Saturday, 7 February at the iconic Nederburg Wine Estate, this vibrant new event promises an unforgettable afternoon of music, food and wine – all in support of education initiatives across the Cape winelands.
Billed as a “rockstar party for a good cause,” The Celebration opens the doors of South Africa’s most prestigious wine charity event to a wider audience than ever before.
Nederburg’s historic grounds will be transformed into a lively festival-style setting, complete with live music, gourmet food stations, curated wine stands, craft cocktails, pre-booked picnic options and interactive lounges. The entertainment line-up is set to impress, with Mi Casa headlining alongside the soulful Lloyiso (pictured).
“Their performances are guaranteed to create an atmosphere of joy, connection and celebration,” says event organiser Darielle Robertson.
Adding to the experience is an exceptional culinary showcase curated by acclaimed chefs Reuben Riffel, Peter Tempelhoff and Pete Goffe-Wood.
Two ticket options are available: a Morning Barrel Auction ticket at R3 150 per person, which includes access to the exclusive morning auction, brunch and The Celebration; and The Celebration ticket at R650 per person. Both options are available via Webtickets.
Limited corporate hospitality areas and VIP experience auction tickets are also available on request.
WIN! Two readers can each win a set of double tickets to The Celebration. This includes:
- Entry to The Celebration
- A commemorative wine glass
- 2 glasses of wine & 2 cocktails
- Access to food stalls or pre-booked picnic options
