SURVIVOR Pinotage 2017, an ABSA Top 10 Pinotage rooted in the Swartland, has been included in the UK based 2020 Top 100 Awesome Wines held annually by the Association of Wine Educators.

Recommended as a wine of great value by international wine professionals, Survivor made the cut in the category for red wines selling between £10 and £25.

“Rich and rounded, bursting with black berry and spice flavours,” is how the Survivor Pinotage is described in the Awesome Wines listing.

“International recognition is all the reward we could wish for with our Pinotage. Made from low-yielding Swartland grapes, our Survivor Pinotage expresses a profound sense of place and authenticity; proof once again that we are on the right track with our single minded focus on producing terroir driven wines, ” says winemaker Ben Snyman (pictured below).

Meticulously crafted from 100% Swartland Pinotage grapes, Survivor Pinotage 2017 is a hearty expression of ripe prune, plum and juicy cherries complemented by elegant notes of cedar and spice. Survivor wines are inspired by the spirited indigenous Nguni cattle with their multi-coloured patterns and pigmentations akin to the African landscape.

The award winning Survivor Pinotage 2017 can be purchased online at a cellar door price of R175.
