Live it up at Stellenbosch’s sublime Street Soirées

by Press Release 4 Jan 2021
by Press Release 4 Jan 2021

STELLENBOSCH Street Soirées are back! This series of laid-back wine, food and music socials is your invitation to be rejuvenated in South Africa’s capital of good living.

Once again presented by Stellenbosch Wine Routes, the soirées make the most of the Cape’s balmy summer evenings when one of the town’s main roads is closed off, allowing visitors to snack and sip through fine Stellenbosch fare. What better way to get out into a safe space?

Participating wineries, chefs and restaurants will line Drostdy Street, one of Stellenbosch’s most historic and scenic. This is the opportunity to rouse your friends and family, and spend the evening in good cheer. Each soirée features different wineries, giving you the chance to spread the fun throughout the season.

Tickets are limited and pandemic compliance measures will be in place. This includes the requirement of masks, temperature screening and sanitising on entry.

Cost: R150 (includes a tasting glass and 10 tokens).

When: January 13 and 27, 2021; February 10 and 24; and March 10 and 24.

Tickets will be flying fast so make sure you get yours here, or pay with cash, Snapscan, or your bank card at the entrance. Also speed up your time at the gate by completing the required attendance register online prior to arrival.
