THERE is a host of delicious ways to celebrate the festive season at Constantia Glen with your family and friends. With extended opening hours and delicious new taste partners for their wines added to the popular selection of platters and crispy flammkuchen, summer at Constanta Glen is sure to be a feast.
Open from 10am to 9pm daily until 10 January 2022, guests will be spoilt for choice. Try the new truffle and wild mushroom wood-fired flammkuchen with fresh black truffle shavings, crème frâiche, roasted wild mushrooms and onion. Other new summer additions include the lobster sandwich – sustainable and ethically sourced lobster tail dressed in cocktail sauce with lettuce and avocado salsa on a toasted brioche bun.
The popular cheese and charcuterie platter has been given a delicious makeover to now serve two people with fine cheeses, cured meats, seasonal fruits, artichokes, mebos, nuts, peppadew pâté, grape jelly and olive tapenade, served with a French baguette.
Each of these tasty options can be enjoyed with one of Constantia Glen’s elegant, Bordeaux-style wines while taking in the wonderful vineyard views.
The tasting room and restaurant are open daily for the festive period with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day when the farm will be closed to visitors.
