Celebrate at Delheim’s Harvest Festival 2020

by Press Release 14 Jan 2020
by Press Release 14 Jan 2020

JOIN Delheim Estate for the annual celebration of Mother Nature’s bounty at the Stellenbosch winery’s Harvest Festival on Saturday, January 25.

The occasion is a highlight on the winelands calendar, allowing families to spend a leisurely day wining, dining and having fun on the lush and historic property. Ticketholders simultaneously support a good cause with a portion of sales donated to the Pebbles Project, a non-profit organisation enriching the lives of children and their families in the Winelands farming communities in the Western Cape.

The 2020 Delheim Harvest Festival again promises a feast of entertainment, complete with the ever-popular and unmissable grape picking and stomping. There will be live music, tractor rides and plenty of food and drink provided in true festival style by various food stalls.

Among the highlights is a gift included with every adult ticket sold – a surprise reward for your hard work in the vineyards. Without giving away too much, this is a keeper: a grand gift for a grand occasion. The price of a ticket also includes a bottle of Delheim Rosé 2019, Sauvignon Blanc 2019 or Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 that can be enjoyed at the festival or taken home.

Additional wines will be available for purchase from Delheim’s wine bar.

The grape picking-and-stomping kicks off promptly at 10.30am, while the feasting will begin at 12pm. Tickets are limited to keep it intimate and special – just the thing for a special day to enjoy with the family.

TICKET DETAILS

  • Tickets are R480pp for adults. This price includes four food items, a complimentary bottle of Delheim wine, live music entertainment, grape picking-and-stomping, a tractor ride and an exclusive take-home gift. A total R100 per ticket goes to the Pebbles Project.
  • Tickets for children under 18 are R280pp and include grape picking-and-stomping; two juices; a snack treat and three food items. The festival is free for children under three years of age and there’s also access to the play area and face painting.
  • Tickets are limited and must be purchased online via Quicket.
