THERE’S something about Bo-Vine in the City that pulls you in. Maybe it’s the sound of a well-chosen playlist or the scent of something perfectly charred hitting the grill – but the moment you walk in, it immediately pulls you into the room.
Having opened its Heritage Square doors just months ago, Bo-Vine in the City has already been named Global Best Steakhouse at the 2025 Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards – a prestigious global recognition in the hospitality industry. The award reflects the restaurant’s unwavering commitment to quality: from carefully sourced cuts and local ingredients to the team who brings it all together, the kitchen that prepares each dish with care and the waitstaff who deliver it with pride. It’s the kind of space that feels equally suited to a midweek dinner or a night out that lingers late into the evening.
And that’s exactly the idea behind Bo-Vine’s First Thursdays offering. Every first Thursday of the month, the restaurant invites guests to experience a bit more of the city’s creative energy. A resident DJ brings the vibe, a welcome drink on arrival sets the tone, and the rest of the night unfolds around good food, easy conversation and a lively but never overwhelming atmosphere.
Bo-Vine first launched in Camps Bay in 2022, but the city location has quickly developed a voice of its own. With more events in the works and an award-winning team behind it, Bo-Vine in the City is proving that steakhouse dining can be vibrant, memorable, and full of character.
