This winter sees owner and curator Corlandi Bezuidenhout introducing “wake and cake”, together with pastry chef Chloe Visser, baking from the early morning hours to put up a daily sweet fair.
While it may be slightly surreal to see such extravagance on the breakfast menu of a home style eatery, the treats will be available all day. If your sweet tooth only kicks in later, other morning musts include mouth watering French toast and Meraki’s famous eggs Benedict. Winter is, after all, a time for indulgence.
