For lovers of Chenin Blanc, the Waterford Old Vine Chenin Blanc boasts grapes sourced from some of the oldest Chenin Blanc vines in Stellenbosch, dating back to as far as 1966. To best preserve the purity of the fruit, berry bunches are hand-harvested in the early morning and whole-bunched pressed. These old vines allow for tremendous layers of complexity to the palate and are a true ode to the rich soils of the renowned region.
The Waterford Estate Chardonnay 2019 is aĀ singular wine produced from a vineyard planted in 1988, making it one of the oldest Chardonnay vineyards in the country. It’s also just been rated as one ofĀ the Top 10 Chardonnays in South Africa by WineMag.
