CANDLE-making has evolved into an art form, offering endless creative possibilities. Join OKRA Candle at La Motte Ateljee in Franschhoek on Saturday, 4 October 2025 for a full day workshop that invites you into the world of sculptural candle-making.
In this hands-on session, each guest will receive a block of wax and a set of sculpting tools to carve and shape a unique candle design of their own. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned creative, this experience is designed to ignite your imagination.

There will be a half-day workshop experience at La Motte Ateljee with OKRA Candle on Sunday, 5 October 2025 that will celebrate the art of candle making from mixing and scenting to pouring your own unique creation. This experience invites you to explore the sensory craft of wax work.
You’ll be guided through the process of blending fragrances, adding colour, and hand-pouring your candle into a prepared mould. Learn how wax behaves, how scent profiles are built, and what it means to create a candle that’s both beautiful and personal.
