KLIPDRIFT Brandy’s original series UnKlipped is short films which capture real conversations with real South Africans doing what comes naturally when friends get together – laughing, joking and having a good time together – unclipped, unedited and unchecked so the magic can flow.

It hit the right spot with its target audience, with a successful first season that was viewed by more than 1.5 million people equating to 42 000 hour of total watch time. It also ran in long format garnering over 800 000 more views.  Season two sees local television personality Tats Nkonzo (pictured above) take up the seat as host for the second time. For this season Klipdrift brings more of SA’s best creatives, comedian, DJs and sportsmen together to share their #GoldBetweenFriends stories.

Fred Leclezio, Klipdrift marketing manager, says: “UnKlipped is all about real friendships and authentic, unplugged conversation between them. Guests on the show are sharing stories that are touching, emotional, and funny – and the magic just happens naturally. During the 20-odd minute episodes, we get to share in the memories and friendships between celebrities and their close friends. The content is just so relatable and that’s what makes it ‘gold’; this is not often seen in advertising features.

“In season two we watch these familiar celebs engage over Zoom which is exactly what we all did during lockdown with our friends and families. It’s these friendships and connections that withstand distance and time, that reflect the Klipdrift way of life, ‘’ he adds.
