THIS IS IT! MCQP PRESENTS THE ULTIMATE HALLOWEEN EXPERIENCE

THIS is IT – the event that promises to provide the ultimate Halloween experience this year. As organisers of the biggest costume party in Africa, you know the MCQP team will present the must-attend event with MCQP PRESENTS HALLOWEEN, taking place on Saturday, October 28.

“For those who thought that clown parties are only for kids…think again! We’ll be honouring the scariest clown of them all. Yes, you guessed it, the clown everyone loves to hate – Pennywise from the movie, IT,” says Ian McMahon, director of MCQP.

The remake of the original Stephen King film broke box office records after bagging $117 million during its opening weekend in the United States earlier this year, and was equally popular locally. “And now, Pennywise is coming for you…and it’s time to get spooky with us,” McMahon continues. “So come join us at MCQP PRESENTS HALLOWEEN and ‘you’ll float down here, too’…”

Candice Heyns, MCQP’s executive project manager, adds: “Coulrophobics – those with an irrational fear of clowns – will face their worst fear, but need not to worry! Good always overcomes evil. Our barmen, known for their outstanding physical fitness and muscles, never shy to display ‘it’, will take exceptionally good care of you all night long.”

Those attending MCQP PRESENTS HALLOWEEN will be able to enjoy both a downstairs and upstairs party area, and the line-up include DJs Chad, Groovy Q, Sole Elos (from Germany), Candice Heyns, B_Type and Kanan7 vs El Gordo, providing an ultimate feast for all ears.

The event, taking place at 30 Napier Street in Cape Town, will open its ghoulish doors to the world of monsters and underworld creatures at 8pm and will continue until Pennywise has finally captured enough souls to satisfy his unquenchable thirst.

Heyns cautions, however: “Don’t forget – you have to dress up! Otherwise you will be ‘penny-lised’ by Pennywise himself. Believe me, that isn’t something you want to encounter.”

Concludes McMahon: “Ghosts, goblins, monsters, clowns and more will be summoned to our playground, with unseen rooms and floors only the bravest will explore. Amazing décor, great costumes, DJs, bars and free broom flying lessons are just a taste of what one can expect! Ghouls just wanna have fun and witches will wear their disguises. But what will you do when IT comes for you? He might have a balloon with your name on it…”
