PAUL DUVERGE, managing director of Raw Africa Boutique Collection, has announced its latest initiative – the launch of the Plett Wine & Adventure Festival 2022 at Sky Villa Boutique Hotel, which will take place on 16 and 17 December, 2022.

“Our focus has always been about supporting local businesses and uplifting our community and it is with this in mind and as a precursor to the start of peak season in Plett, that Raw Africa Boutique Collection takes great pleasure in hosting the inaugural Plett Wine & Adventure Festival at Sky Villa Boutique Hotel. What better way to kick-start the peak season than with wine, music, food and fun?” he said.

Duverge explained that the aim of this annual event, which will take place on the same dates every year, is to showcase Plettenberg Bay as a wine destination, celebrate its local heritage and to promote collaboration and a sense of community.

Over two event-filled days of adventure, wine tastings, culinary delights and live music, local restaurants and other food/drink related local businesses will be part of the festival, together with a limited number of top wine estates showcasing the best of South Africa’s wines from established brands, ensuring festival goers enjoy a sophisticated wine experience. Wines will be sold directly to the public during the festival.

Other highlights include:

  • Friday 16 December:  Enduro Race at Sky Trails 8.30am to 3.30pm
  • Saturday 17 December: Sky Fun Run at Sky Trails 8.30am to 3.30pm
  • 16 & 17 December: post activity yoga 4pm to 4.45pm, and wine, spirits and craft beer tastings 5pm-10pm

Festival tickets are R200 per person per day, tickets will be limited to 500 per day. Tickets for the adventure events will be sold separately on the Quicket link. For more information, call Kim Prince on 066 222 1243, or email [email protected]
