IN what is hoped will be the first of many collaborations with stand-up comedian Lungelo Ndlovu, Milnerton Players are  delighted to host the first Comedy @ The Playhouse show on Friday 30 September 2022 at 7.30pm.

The host is fabulously hilarious Martin Davis, who hails from the United Kingdom and has performed on many stages around the world and recently returned from a few shows back home. He will undoubtedly keep the audience entertained from beginning to end; and the line-up is sure to have you rolling with laughter the whole night. Headliner Lungelo Ndlovuhas been in the comedy industry for just over 10 years. In his career, he has been invited to perform in Parliament, on Comedy Central Africa, and he was a regular at the popular, now former, Cape Town Comedy Club. His humour is generally observational and personal, but will leave you in stitches.

Added to this already stellar line-up is Ismail Moses, a Capetonian through and through. He entered the stand-up comedy scene in 2016 and has shared the stage with some of the finest in the country, having opened for seasoned comics like Shimmy Isaacs and Liam Bento, along with running a few gigs of his own around the city. Kolping Mbumbahas been making waves in the industry, not just on stage but off stage too. Author of IsiXhosa Lessons with Kolping Mbumba, his comedic talents have spread through industry with performances at comedy festivals, his own one man show and many other stages around the country. Last but by no means least is the talented Vafa Naraghi – among the new but fast growing names on the Cape Town comedy circuit. He performs stand-up comedy, has toured with his one man show and is the hottest thing online with his TikTok and Instagram postings.
