Celebrate Women’s Day with waterblommetjies and wine at Constantia Glen

ADD a Cape twist to Women’s Day on Friday, August 9 with a special waterblommetjie soup at Constantia Glen, the picturesque boutique wine estate just 20 minutes from the Cape Town city centre.

The delicious soup made from this local delicacy is served with grilled cheese toast and will be available to guests at R95 per serving for Women’s Day only. The estate’s elegant flagship white, Constantia Glen TWO, is the perfect taste partner for the ultimate winter wine tasting experience.

Visitors can also tuck into Constantia Glen’s famous traditional Austrian beef goulash served with Spätzle, French onion soup with croûte au fromage, and delicious potato and leek soup, served as single servings or a trio of smaller portions.

If you wish to linger over lunch, Constantia Glen offers more substantial dishes such as slow cooked pulled lamb and grilled chicken paillard in addition to its popular selection of cheese and charcuterie platters and crispy flammkuchen.
