BRIGHTEN up winter and celebrate the solstice with Vortex Trance Adventures’ three-day Phoenix Festival of Fire Outdoor Music Festival with a fabulous line-up of international and local DJs, from June 22-24.
For the first time this event will be held at a new and exciting venue – Kam’Bati River Resort near Swellendam, in a beautiful setting along the Breede River. As usual it will host amazing music, workshops, trade stalls, food vendors, a main and ambient dance floors and stunning chill areas.
Workshops include Gyroscope 3D Dance Experience, hula with Mbalenhle, macrame & Chai Garden, poi, slackline and yoga; performances by Fire Tribe, Connect and Flow, magician Jesse Brooks, Paradigm Shift Special Effects and The Psychedelic Theatre are on the agenda for this event where “fire, symbol of rebirth, regeneration and growth, embraces new spirals of light, growth and life.”
On the Circle dance floor, stomp with Freedom Fighters (Hommega Records); Headroom; Bernz; K-Jos; DJ Mark; Connecto; Dan Scot; Itone; Psymantis; Crushharder; Deliriant; Rubix Qube; Disco Volant; Plastic Vision; Contrast; Plusminus; Iron Lotus; Counter Culture; Can Of Tomato Soup; Zezia; Gryphon-X; Loophole; Clockwise; Kilowatt; and Highstyle.
