VISITORS will be able to take in the wraparound views of the Franschhoek valley with a two- or three-course menu created with seasonal ingredients on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 11am and 4pm (last seating), as well as à la carte. The set menus are R195 and R250 per person, respectively.
The team has put together a selection of mocktails to quench the thirst, and there is a range of non-alcoholic beers, ciders, wines, bubbly and soft and hot drinks from which to choose.
Guests will be able to wander around the beautiful grounds, and for families dining, there will be a children’s menu available and the newly installed jungle gym playground will be open to younger visitors to burn off some energy.
While the doors were temporarily shut, the team was busy behind the scenes ensuring Country Kitchen is in a position to welcome back guests in the safest way possible and have been putting in place meticulous new cleaning measures, so guests can have complete peace of mind when they visit. There will be no compromise on the dining options on offer, but a few small changes have been made to ensure social distancing and how food is presented.
