GRUB & VINE has announced the launch of its second restaurant – Grub & Vine Norval – which will open its doors to the public on 30 November – just in time for the festive season.
“Situated at the Norval Foundation in the Constantia Wine Valley – a custodian and protector of African visual art – Grub & Norval sets out to celebrate the commonality between beautiful food, wine and art,” says Matt Manning, chef patron and director of the Grub & Vine group.
“Art – whether it be visual, culinary or the artistry of winemaking – invokes emotion. It has the power to make you feel nostalgic, invigorated or inspired. We not only believe in the beautiful synergy between all three; our vision is for our guests to feel it too.”
Louis Norval sees the collaboration as a natural fit. “Matt’s reputation precedes him, and we are delighted to welcome Grub & Vine to the Norval Foundation. Grub & Vine Norval will serve as the most natural extension thereof, a wonderful marriage of gastronomy, art and wine.”
Just like its sister restaurant on Bree Street, Grub & Vine Norval promises a warm and inviting ambience.
“We’re thrilled to bring Grub & Vine to the southern suburbs, offering guests elegant bistro fare partnered with a fantastic wine offering in a stunning setting.”
Grub & Vine Norval is now open for bookings.
