THE sixth annual Silk Workshop Student Showcase on Sunday, November 26, promises to be an aerial and acrobatic spectacular.
“With 2017’s theme being Around The World, we can’t wait to take you on a circus-style journey of the music, dance and vibes of an array of exotic and exciting countries,” says Nicky from Silk Workshop. “Our student showcases are a great opportunity for everyone to come and see what we get up to in the air and on the ground at The Silk Workshop studio in Montague Gardens, so come and join in on the fun and action and be amazed by what ordinary people have learnt to do with their passion for aerial dance and acrobatics.”
The Silk Workshop is an aerial dance studio providing training in aerial silks, aerial hoop and aerial hammock for adults and children. It also offers adult acrobatics as well as stretch classes and hula hooping classes.
It’s a fantastic alternative and exciting way to tone your muscles, increase your strength, flexibility, overall stamina and fitness all at the same time, while having an enormous amount of fun. No prior experience is needed, just the desire to have fun and get in shape.
The Silk Workshop also does children’s parties, team building events, bachelorette parties and offers a wide variety of exciting entertainment options for corporate events.
All ages are welcome at the event, which is child-friendly. Tickets are R145 online pre-sale here and R160 at the door. The venue is the South African National Circus School in Observatory, and it begins at 3pm. For more information, call Nicky on 073 273 3538 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
